Froud and Scam

Good Afternoon everyone,

I want to raise awareness about the increasing number of road and scam attempts in our area,

including both phone scams and doorstep fraudsters. Many residents, particularly the elderly

and vulnerable, may be at risk, so it would be beneficial to share reminders on hoe to stay safe.

A few key safety tips:

Never giving out personal or financial information over the phone.

Verifying the identity of callers before engaging in conversation.

Not opening the door to unexpected visitors – always ask for ID and confirm with official company if unsure.

Reporting suspicious calls, messages, or visits to Action Fraud or local police.
